The London Tube bomber

Second 'bomber' lived just yards from Heathrow airport amid fears of a plot to bring down a jet - as it's revealed first 'bomber' is Iraqi refugee whose parents died and that he 'was arrested TWO WEEKS ago at Parsons Green'


  • A 21-year-old man was arrested in the London borough of Hounslow at around 11.50pm last night
  • A house in Stanwell has been raided by police in relation to the second man's arrest yesterday night 
  • Police launched an armed operation in Sunbury-on-Thames yesterday with local residents evacuated 
  • Home Secretary Amber Rudd has this afternoon announced the terror threat level is reduced to 'severe'  
  • Neighbours on the quiet Surrey street said officers had been there since Friday, just hours after the bombing 
  • Came after officers arrested suspected bomber in the departure lounge of Dover port at around 7.50am
  • A second property in Stanwell, Surrey, was also being searched in connection with the Hounslow arrest
  • Home in Sunbury owned by Penelope and Ronald Jones who have been honoured by Queen for fostering
  • Neighbours of MBE couple said they are currently looking after two children one of whom is '18 and awful'
  • At least 30 people were injured in the Parsons Green bomb on the London Underground on Friday morning
