ISIS fighters laugh about buying and selling female Yazidi slaves
Islamic State fighters laugh and haggle about buying enslaved girls — some as young as 15 — in a chilling video released Monday.
“Today is distribution day, God willing. Each one takes his share,” one man says in the video, shot in Mosul, Iraq, and posted to YouTube by Middle East station Al Aan TV.
Young girls with blue and green eyes are worth more on “slave-market day,” they say.
“If she is 15 years old, I have to check her, check her teeth,” one of the fighters says during the disturbing bartering. “If she doesn’t have teeth, why would I want her?”

A seller announces, “I will sell her for a Glock,” referring to the popular pistol.
Another offers a woman for “five bank notes.” Subtitles in the video say a bank note is worth about $100.
At one point, a young boy is asked whether he wants a “Yazidi slave.” When the child nods, the older men surrounding him laughingly inquire, “Can you handle her?”
Al Aan TV translated the clip into English.
The militants are enslaving and abusing “hundreds, if not thousands” of Yazidi women and children, Amnesty International has reported.
Last month, in its English-language magazine, the Islamic State claimed it had a right to do so under Sharia law.
