The left makes a living by keeping poor people down and uninspired. Their business is more important then solving problems

SUIT FILED TO HALT WORK REQUIREMENTS FOR FOOD STAMP RECIPIENTS IN NEW MEXICO

On October 27, the New Mexico Center for Law and Poverty, the Southwest Organizing Project, and a number of food stamp recipients filed suit to halt work requirements for food stamp recipients which are set to go into effect in November.

The Associated Press reports the changes would require "some childless adults [to] work in order to receive food stamps." Other recipients would have to "search for a job or participate in community service or job training."
The suit is directed toward the Human Services Department (HSD), which is implementing the requirements as part of a larger body of reforms put in place by New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez (R). HSD spokesman Kevin Kennicott said the lawsuit is "baseless."
